Beat Connection

You know when Vampire Weekend came out, and we were all amazed by how many endorphins ran loose in our head when we heard “A-Punk” for the first time? I got the same vibe with Beat Connection.
From Seattle in the USA these guys studied avant-garde composition at college and started to DJ and went on to making beats on GarageBand. Their album, The Palace Garden, due for release in early August via labels Tender Age & Classic Ills is an absolute mish-mash of upbeat, jaunty pop music with enough cowbells to make the laughing cow start twitching.
I reckon in July we’ll be hearing some of their tunes blasting on commercial radio all around the UK and they’ll become the new Foster The People. Watch this space.
I’ve added a few songs into the post so you get how different each song is.
